On May 14, 2011 from 10AM to 2PM at the Kubota Gardens in Seattle there will be a festival for japanese maple trees. The festival is being put on by the Seattle Parks Department. If you have never been to the gardens, this is a good reason to plan a visit to it. The garden is very impressive in its size at 20 plus acres. It is home for some of the largest japanese maple trees in the Seattle area along with other wonderful plants. Come and find your favorite palmatum in the garden.
