knots on Aspen bark

    This plant is aparently chlorotic from lack of micro nutrients, might be combination soil pH trouble, but what are the knots on the bark? All obervations and comments are welcome.

    Those are galls, and you need specific treatment, though I'm sorry I don't know what it is (someone else will). BTW, just a bit curious why you're assuming that lack of nutrients are the problem with the leaves?

    guess this assumption was based on the chlorosis. Iron or manganese usually is lacking when the veins are green like this. Now, why these would be lacking is another story. I haven't had answers to horticultural practice questions from this individual yet.
