I planted a Key Lime tree in March of 2005. All of 2005, it made great, and abundant fruit. This spring the tree started looking very healthy, and dark green after fertilizing in February. The tree grew from about 4 feet to 6.5 feet over the summer, and still looks very healthy. One problem...no more fruit! It has not made fruit since march/April. I used Miracle grow citrus fertilizer per the instructions. The only negative thing that I can say about the tree is the location, which is kind of damp.

    What do you think?

Some trees may fruit only one time during the year. I'm sure if it hasn't again it will fruit again in March/April again. I know in some plants if you use alot of nitrogen fertilizer it will delay fruting / flowering. The very dark green leaves are an indication of a lot of nitrogen.
