On Douglas Justice's walk this morning, we saw this tree that has a lot of 'Shirotae' characteristics, but the leaves are not fresh-green and the blossoms are not nearly as double. A sick 'Shirotae' or something else?

I could use a better location than "next to the Shirofugen" - was this the front of the Law School building?

These look pretty different from the ones in the first posting in the 'Shirotae' thread.
In posting #8 of the same thread, I questioned the ID of some 'Shirotae' at Regent College.
