Does anyone have information about "Johnnies Pink" Japanese Maple. There is not description in my book. Thanks.
JAPANESE MAPLES (Timber Press): "The very attractive semiglossy bronze-red hawthorn-like leaves have large coarse double-toothed margins. The five or seven lobes are divided at least two-thirds way to the leaf base, with the central lobe often dominant."
I believe that is an introduction ( one of many ) by my friend Harold Johnston of Tallassee, Alabama. Named for his wife, Johnnie. Wonderfully nice people and Harold is undoubtedly a Japanese Maple genius.
