Jill Cherry is leaving VanDusen Garden - a surprise to everybody. She has been appointed overall director of all of RHS's gardens in the UK. Her departure will leave a huge vacuum in the Vancouver gardening scene, but with the opportunity that's opened up for her, how can she resist?
I know a great fellow that would be very qualified to take on her former responsibilities. Where did you hear this information? I'm not finding anything announced officially on any of the sites I'd expect to see this on, nor on the BBC.
I found a Vancouver Sun article, but it's behind the subscriber firewall, so can't read it. Knew I should have picked up the Saturday paper.
