    Hello,

I have several large Japanese Maples in our yard. Last year one died due to an unknown pest. This year I have two more exhibiting the same symptoms. Leaves/branches dying under canopy(see pic) with spider webs in dead branches. There are very small spiders(see pic) on several dead branches. No japanese beetles have been seen nor any other pests observed. There are also these egg sacks??(see pic) throughout the webs/tree. The leaves have some brown spots and appear to be being consumed?? Any/all help would be greatly appreciated as I do not want to lose any more of these beautiful trees. Thanks in advance.

    Mike
