japanese iris and moss?

    will a japanese iris grow threw a moss garden..also i know that of course vancouver has an early spring..is it okay to plant the japanese iris now?

    I've had japanese iris and they are reasonably tough little guys. But moss gardens conjure up shade and possibly rocks. etc. Anyway the logic says for me says more sun = better blooms. Less sun = better moss. so you could plant iris in but may only have the architectural greenery after a while.
