    Hi,
Recently I picked up a 5ft tall JM from a local nursery and its tag said: Acer Palmatum Sodo No Uchi. There were actually two tags (photo attached) came with the tree but when I began to search for more details of the tree, I can not find any except: Acer Sieboldianum Sode No Uchi from our forum as well as from the internet.
Is there a mistake when the nursery tagged them or there is an A.P cultivar with the same name?.

Thank you for all the info that you can share with me.
    Steven

Has been listed in one book as Acer tenuifolium. Too many leaf lobes For palmatum.

Thanks. I guess they missed tag it, too.

I bought a 'Sode no uchi' from a nursery in the UK that was marked as Acer palmatum also. (I knew it wasn't). Probably would be found to be a hybrid if the DNA was ever analysed.
