I'd love to identify this plant that is growing in my laboratory. I have limited experience with horticulture, and want to make sure I take care of this plant, as it looks very interesting. It's kind of waxy. The leaves are dark green and have wavy edges. There are stems growing out of the leaves that become tall vertical creepers or something, others grow into leaves. There are little spines growing out of the stems of the plant. Nice! Thanks so much. From what I read just now, it is an interesting plant. I can't wait to get to a warmer climate to see it really take off. I'm afraid that my Massachusetts lab is probably sub-optimal for its growth. - Jeremiah
In my experience with them they like to be quite rootbound and to dry out between waterings, it is a forest cacti like the christmas cactus. It will bloom when it is kept rootbound in its pot and with some cooler temperatures to induce bud formation.
