I am having trouble remembering what each of my succulents needs for care and watering. Being a very organized person, I would love to put little symbols on each of their terra cotta pots.

One of my indoor gardening books has different symbols for sunlight, shade, watering amounts, fertilizing, etc. but it is in storage and I won't be able to get at it until we move into a new place.

I looked online but couldn't get anything there. Not sure if I was just using the wrong keywords or what. So, I would sure appreciate any help.

sunlight symbols are usually a sun shape or a circle that is either solid black (full shade), half solid/half white (part shade/part sun) or all white (full sun)

water symbols are usually a large droplet of water outline shape with coloration filling 1/3 (low water), 1/2 (frequent water) or full (keep moist). i've also seen multiple droplets 1-3 indicating the same as the above.

There are no standardized symbols for such things. Its not like ancient Alchemy. Various popular books use their own. Use whatever works best for you.
