    Hello,

I am looking for help in identifying a house plant/tree I recently purchased. Unfortunately the owner of the garden store did not know what it was.

It appears to be losing a lot of leaves, so I want to try and identify it in order to know how to properly care for it.

Any help would be gratly appreciated!

    Best,
    Matt

My guess would be Polyscias fruticosa (ming aralia).

A closeup of the leaves might help.

    Hello,

Thanks for the response so far. I've attached some better pictures including a close up of the leaves.

No clue, but it's not Polyscias fruticosa.

Whoa! Good call, Junglekeeper. I had no idea that Begonias could be caudiciform.
    Thanks!

I didn't know either until I delved into this mystery.
