I bought this plant, but it had no tag and no one in the garden could identify it. It was the only of its type I could find. Anyone have any ideas? It's a total of 10 inches tall. It cost $3. http://home.mindspring.com/~derred/fullplant.JPG http://home.mindspring.com/~derred/leaf.JPG thanks for the help Derek
I may be able to help... A pair of questions though, Is the back of the leaves, ie underside, gold? And if so, when rubbed does the gold come off? If yes to both is is a California native fern called gold-back fern...I can look up the scientific name I am travelling at present and do not have my resources with me. And if the answer is no to both, I will think further on the subject. Have fun, raichael
