Identify this one please

    wife bought this at a CVS. Funny thing is she told me I have too much cacti in the garden already lol

    It is a monstrous form of a Cereus. I have seen different suggestions about the exact species, jamacaru and peruvianus for example, but I have never been convinced about the correct species name.
