Identification: Identification of houseplant

    I have been told this is a Persian Violet, but the flowers are a different shape, the leaves are not shiny, they have fine hairs and there is no perfume. The plant I have is also long lived, easily propagated by division and flowers almost continuously. Any ideas

    Saintpaulia ionantha (the common name is african violet).

    No it's defo not an African Violet, I have plenty of those too, this plant is quite different in flower shape and habit
