I got this plant from a local grocery store for $1 and couldn't pass up its vivid lime green color. I don't know what it is and would like some help. It seems like a fairly hardy plant that can take a bit of abuse/neglect. Any help would be great!

looks like it might be a peperomia. not idea which particular one (there are many).

some are succulent (don't need tons of watering) and others aren't.

Joclyn is right. Looks like the one I had, a variegated Peperomia scandens.

I agree, Peperomia scandens. Variegated forms like yours need a little sun every day to keep their leaf color. Take care not to over water it, let the soil dry out almost completely between waterings.
