Identification: ID please - 10 year old plant

    I would like to know what type of plant this is so I can care for it properly. Mine gets lots of new growth at the top, but not along the 3 "trunks". It has become tall and thin with green only at the top. My friends is the opposite, hers has become more like a bush.
