    Hi,
Anyone out there who can kindly ID my cactus. It grew from 3" to 2' in a year and has recently sprouted many side shoots. It has 4 ribs and small spikes about 3/4" apart with about 5-8 spikes 1/4" long in each cluster. A picture can be found at http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/adesgonefishin/Peppers/photo#5075973735535399106

I've spent some time looking for it and the genus acanthocereus looks similar but i've not seen a picture with the side shoots and the spikes all look bigger.

    Thanks
