ID moss

    I would like to know what kind of moss is this in my backyard? I have been using moss contol but it will not kill it. It just grow like crazy like a thick carpet just over the winter. Thank you for your help!

    Might be a Plagiomnium, something like badge moss or similar. Very lovely!

    Mosses are pretty hard to identify by a photo.
    My guess is Ceratodon.
