I know it's sometimes futile to try and get a correct name. Still I'd like for any discerning UBC'er to take a shot at ID'ing these 2. The deeply divided leaved plant(1,2,3) has been under siege from birds and squirrels, it's about 13 years old. The strap leaf (4,5) plant has grown that way on its own it's about 4-5 years old.

    Appreciate your observations.

The strapleaf looks a lot like my Villa toranto, but could be Red Pygmy as well.

Thanks for taking a look Dawg. I have a VT to compare it to and it's different. I was thinking 'Red pygmy' but I am not very familiar with that plant.

Chimera, pic4 is the same plant as 5. The picture is looking down at the crown. It's a grafted plant. The bark on the cultivar part is a nice bright green. Thanks for looking.
