I am writing a script for a movie which deals with a child who develops cancer. I need to know of a plant ( some type of flower would be really good ) that once u plant the seed it might take a short or very long time to start growing. In other words, a seed of a plant which is very unpredictable when it will start growing, or if it will grow at all ! Thank you very much for your time
Some palm seeds are utterly unpredictable about germination. Acrocomia aculeata for example (it's a common new-world species, hardy in much of Florida)
