I've had this plant for over a year now and would love to know how to maintain it better and to separate it as it seems to be getting crowded. Also, I bought it just the way it is...it's small and growing out of a small slice of what looks like a soil block? It is very hard with stridations of something holding it together. Would like to know what that is also. It blooms small pink flowers occasionally and has a pod at the base. Thank you!

Thank you for your reply. I think that's exactly what it is from pictures on the web.
