I recieved this cactusfrom work because it had a white fungas growing on it, just was wndering if anyone could Identify it for me. it sort of looks like a cereus, but im not 100% sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It may be Cereus hildmannianus f. tortuosus. It seems you might have a scale infestation at the bottom there. You might try a rubbing alcohol (50% w/water) spray or wipe to get rid of them.
I found this thread on the cactus in question, and I think it is not a C. hildmannianus f. tortuosus... help me somebody! http://www.botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/forums/showthread.php?p=189744
