I.D needed

    I recieved this cactusfrom work because it had a white fungas growing on it, just was wndering if anyone could Identify it for me. it sort of looks like a cereus, but im not 100% sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    It probably is a Cereus, but I thought it could be a Lemaireocereus thurberi....

    It may be Cereus hildmannianus f. tortuosus. It seems you might have a scale infestation at the bottom there. You might try a rubbing alcohol (50% w/water) spray or wipe to get rid of them.

    is it a fungus or a mealy infestation? i can't really tell from the pic...

    looks like a cereus to me - i'm not all that good with cacti id's though...

    Its is not scale, or mealy bug I can definately identify those on my own.
