Hey there, I just recently planted some lavender in my front yard. Just curious about when and how often I should prune it? I've read on-line that you should prune it lightly just before planting it on the ground. Then prune young shoots and flower buds in the first year. Does that mean every time a new growth appears I should prune it right away or should I wait until flower stems start to bloom then prune it? Thank you in advance. Ed.
