We live on Vancouver Island and my garden is overun with native ferns (that I never introduced). Their giant size, so lovely in the wild, completely hides everything in our japanese garden. And because they are growing between cracks and out from under boulders, I can't dig out the roots. Any ideas?..We have a weed torcch, but a quick google came up with that as being less than satisfactory. Jane
