If they are hardy trees in your area then you should be able to plant them now and let nature give them the cold treatment for your. Otherwise I might add some moist sand to the bags in the fridge. You are asking how to store seed not how to germinate seeds. If that is all you are asking you can simply put them in your refrigerator. Long term storage is accomplished by dropping the moisture content to about ten percent and setting the holding temperature to about 0 and -10 C, some seed retailers set the temperatures much lower but I don't know how this is accomplished or what the temperture is but it is very low. For the rest of us putting them in your frig. is good enough for up-to a year.

I save my prescription bottles to store them in. Make very easy containers for taking to the garden. The ideal size if your doctor will save them is the sample containers they throw away by the hundreds.
