Identification: House Plant Identification

    I was recently given this plant and I think I am killing it. I do not know what it is so I cannot find out how to care for it. Please Help.

    you have a schefflera, it needs some sun, it likes to dry out between waterings and it like to have some room in its pot for its roots.
