    Hi

I'm trying to identify a houseplant we've had for a while. It's quite spikey, seems a bit like a succulent and grows in tubular gramophone-type horns.

Recently it's just bloomed for the first time. A really striking pink flower, very similar in composition to the leaves (spikey); and a couple of days ago some secondary purple and deep pink buds appeared between the 'leaves' of the initial flower.

Here's a picture of the flower in it's initial form.

    Any help appreciated, cheers :)
