My lonicera (the sort that has the spicy smell) keeps getting infested with aphids. To keep them at bay, I think I'd have to spray about twice a day.

There is a condo block not away and there is a lonicera (same variety I think) hanging over the wall into the street. There's never a sign of an aphid and it blooms all Summer.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated

    thanks

I started using Safer's soap on my roses to get rid of aphids but someone else here advised that a good shot of water works...so I tried that and she's right! It's way more effective than the soap!

    Thanks

I've tried Safer's but, on honeysuckle, I get a horrible mess which the bees do not like.

    So.............. out with hose !!!

I was having problems with aphids and leafhopper nymphs on well everything. I mixed a concoction that seems to be working really well.
    1 liter warm water
1 table spoon Dr. Bonners peppermint liquid castile soap
    1 teaspoon olive oil

    Shake and spray
