I was in Home Depot yesterday and there was this poor tropical plant on the shelf without a pot! I obviously had to purchase it and give it a proper home. Unfortunately none of the others with pots had names, just "Tropical Plant". (Don't you hate that?) I looked through the two plant books I have but I came up with nothing. It's under a foot tall. Any ideas? Let me know if you need additional pictures.
Yes! I think that is it, thank you. The closest I came was Pachira aquatica which goes by Malabar/Guiana chestnut. Looking at Castanospermum's page, I hope it doesn't want to grow the full 40 metres! However, it's that it flowers.
