We have a very small redbud tree that was started from a seedling. It leafed out beautifully this year, but suddenly many the leaves a riddled with small holes so badly they look like lace. I can't seen any bugs or works on it anywhere. Can you help?

Look for the perpetrators at night. Might be coming out of the soil or nearby cover, like leaf litter or low plants.

If you can't find anything on it even at night, look to see if any Master Gardener clinics are being held at nearby libraries or garden centers.

If there is a Cooperative Extension office nearby and you are available when they are open, you could also try there.
