Hi can anyone help me identify this plant leaf. The plant the leaf belongs to was given to me as a suppossed indoor plant. It has a bark that kinda looks like the skin of a pineapple about 1 1/2" in diameter. It looks tropical. The previous owner told me it was an elephant plant but when I looked that up it was far from it. HELP! Please see the attachment.

    Thanks in advance

Your plant looks very much like Philodendron bipinnatifidum, more commonly known as P. selloum. It is a tropical plant and a common indoor plant. One of its common names is elephant ear philodendron. Here's a link to another photograph.
