    Hello,

I'm new to the site and I'm sure you are all very busy but if anyone could find the time to give me some advice it would be so appreciated.

I have had this cactus for some years now and grown it from 2inches to now 2feet but I think something is going wrong?

I'm not sure if it's rot or what to do, I'm a complete novice but LOVE my cacti please could you have a look at the pictures and any advice would be great.

    Joel

I don't know what it is, but it does not look like rot. Sunburn or frost damage was my first thought, but I don't understand why it would affect a single stem like that.
Where do you keep it? Outdoors/indoors?
What came first, the brown scars or the sunken, chlorotic areas? Or did they appear at the same time?

    Hi,

Thanks for I keep it indoors and the brown scars and chlorotic patches came together and seem to be slowly spreading but as you say it is only on the one stem.
