help...

    ok I have the costa Farm pineapple and well it's not doing so well and I don't know what I"m doing wrong...the baby pinnaple growth seems to be dying...should I cut it off or?? any ideas or should I just throw it out???
    the 3rd picture is a pineapple top I planted from the grocery store

    Once the fruit is mature it will want to drop off the plant, you can cut it off and plant the top of it like your grocery store pinapple. Make sure to let it dry for a day or more before planting it. The "mother" plant will continue to grow a bit, and it will develop baby plants of the side of the plant. once these are 1/2 the size of the mother plant, the mother plant will begin to die and the baby pants will continue to grow, and fruit and repeat the whole process.

    thanks James...oh so these pineapples dont' get any bigger than that...? I'm a little dissapointed.. don't know if I'll bother replanting the babies

    No they don't get any bigger, they are breed to be a smaller decorative plant.
