Hi, I live in Lynn Valley, North Vancouver. On the street near my apt is a beautiful arbutus tree. It seems to be very sick now. Dropping most of it's leaves, although there are new green leaves at the ends of the branches. Quite a few smaller branches are completely dead though. We are very worried for it's survival. Any advice? Thanks for any help.

I don’t have an answer tho I can say I’m looking at my own and a neighbour arbutus (arbutae? = plural ?)

    half dead

I recall a major disease maybe 25 yr ago tho a professional would need to update on this topic

Botanical names do not do plural. One Arbutus, six Arbutus; one 'Snow Goose' (cherry), six 'Snow Goose'.
