#2 may be Tradescantia fluminensis, Wandering Jew.
#5 looks like Epipremnum aureum (syn. Scindapsus aureus), Pothos.

for your wandering jew, when you see nodes/bumps, cut on a angle below the node and set in water , in a week or more it will grow roots. http://www.ext.nodak.edu/county/cass/horticulture/indoor/start.htm

for the ficus Benjamin, this is a tree. You can make a bonsai. Trim it to half the current size. leaving a layer of leaves. cut off very small branches and leave the large branches. http://www.missico.com/personal/tidbits/plants/ficus_benjamina_bonsai.htmhttp://www.missico.com/personal/tidbits/plants/ficus_benjamina_bonsai.htm

Triming plants regularly makes them less straggly and more compact.
