Planted in spring/summer 2020 - beautiful show of Canna Lilies (cannova yellow) It is May 2 2021. there is no sign of sprouting - when do these beauties come alive again ? Or are they dead and how do I know
They do come up later than most everything else—don’t give up on them yet! If you really want to check, carefully dig down with your fingers until you can see and feel the bulb. It should be nice and firm, and may have little sprouts starting. But I think they tend to come up in full summer when outdoors all year, at least in my yard and pots. Takes awhile to get warm enough down deep at the bulbs.
