Identification: Help please

    I just bought a house plant and need a plant indentification. I have looked and looked and cant find the name. I know it a common house plant. It only lasted for a day. Does it have a chance? Can i revive the flowers? please help

    hi,

    what does cv stand for? also, another question. my leaves are starting to look like they were ripped or something, drying up and everything. what do i do

    cv = cultivar = variety

    you have one of the many cultivars (varieties) of begonia. the flowers will last for a little and then die off - that's normal. it should bloom again if the plant is cared for properly.

    was there a tag on it that gave some idea of sunlight needs and watering?

    yea, it said normal light no direct sunlight. so its normal for the flowers to fall off? how soon do they come back?
