Hi, new to board 2 quick questions as I know absolutely nothing about palm trees. 1) What species of palm tree is this and is it considered "self cleaning"? 2) The yellow concerns me, suggestions? THANKS!
The palm appears to be Syagrus romanzoffiana (Queen palm). "self cleaning"? - yes, but some frond pruning is required while it establishes. The yellow concerns me, suggestions? - often apparent after transplanting in newer landscapes. Keep well watered during this rooting in/adjustment period. Cheers, LPN.
