I'm working on my garden and wondering if someone could help me identify what this plant is... It was here when I moved in and planted right up next to the porch and is a little of of control. Wondering if I could prune it or if it just needs to be moved. Thanks for the help! It looks like it's been just left to grow and has had no attention whatsoever.
Privet Ligustrum species. You can prune as hard as you like, or get rid of it as it is listed as an invasive weed shrub in your area.
