    Hi,
I wasn't sure whether to post here or in plant identification (sorry...please move me if I'm wrong!)
I would love for someone to help me identify the type/ variety of this Cherry Tree and Pear Tree...
I would also love some advice on how and when to prune the Cherry tree...
    Thanks in advance!!!

    There is a terrific website:
    http://lescrets.free.fr/fpoires/varietes.html
that has pictures of all sorts of obscure pears. However, I also looked in my copy of Perry Pears by Luckwill & Pollard, and saw a picture of a Brandy pear that looked very much like your photo. Is there sometimes a fleshy lip where the pear is attached to the stem? In any case, would it be possible for me to request a couple of sticks of budwood next spring?
