Hi everyone. I bought some plants from the Home Depot and planted them in potting soil hanging on a fence in my backyard. I got them a few weeks ago and they have grown nicely, but now all of a sudden they are turning yellow and they look like they are dieing quick :( . I live in Florida and it's very hot here and the plants are in full sunlight. I don't know if they are being watered too much or not enough, how do you tell? The soil always looks wet as the lawn sprinklers get them 3 times per week. Plus I have been spraying water on them with a squirt bottle sometimes when I am outside. I've taken some pictures so maybe someone can spot what has caused this. Thank you,

Sounds like your watering to much. You don't need to spray them, I doubt they like it.

Forgot to mention, there are two drain holes in the bottom of each box and a layer of rock in the bottom of the box so the dirt wouldn't fall out the holes.

I've sprayed them with the spray bottle just a few times in the span of a week.

The soil I used was Miracle Grow Garden Soil mixed with a little bit of Potting Mix. I have not fed them anything, just water. I noticed afterwards the back of the bag says 'Not For Containers'. What does that mean? :(

Thanks, I haven't sprayed them with the bottle in a few days. They are getting worse each day and I don't think the spray is causing this.

    Thank you,
