    Hi guys,

saw this show on tv where a orchid grower was showing an orchid that originally grows on trees. he had the baskets hanging and the roots were literally in the hair, long and thick roots. we than show the same plant in a very tall glass vase, where you could see the roots and he was explaining that you put water for some time till the roots get the water and then you take the rest of the water and just put the vase in your living room and it was just beautifull.

Unfortunatelly did not get the name... can you help me?

Many orchids are tree-dwelling. Further information required.

Why don't you go to google and then click on images link and then insert orchids into the search window? Perhaps you will find the plant?
