I am in Ottawa. A week and 1/2 ago I planted my tree. Dug hole, put mix of black earth, peat Moss and 2-14-0 bone meal. The weather has been quiet dumb with a lot of rain and tempearture around 10C on average.

I am woried for two reasons:
    1) leaves look diying
    2) my wife put some lime at the base by mistake.

My understnading is that the lime is affecting it and we are thinking adding some magnesium powder to make it acide.

    Any comments help are appreciated.

    thanks
