I was wondering if anyone could recommend a hardy Eucalyptus for a high-bank waterfront property? We live in Nanaimo and love the look of Eucalyptus. We'd prefer a tree that has a broader crown (or can be pruned that way) to act as a visual barrier b/w ourselves and our neighbours. My concern is that the wind might be too much. I was considering E. neglecta (name a good indication it might compensate for my lack of a green thumb) or E. gunni. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you.
