The two small Gum Nuts on top of the Big ones are Eucalpytus regnans.

    Check this site out.

Any one know what the big ones are from ?
The small seeds on the floor are about ¼ of the total amount the regnans Gum Nuts give.

The Biggest Tree in Australia. Eucalpytus regnans.
It would appear that UBC does not do direct linking ???
    The link is very informative.
So I will post the address and if any one is interested, they can cut & paste the link.

It should link automatically (as above), the first time it didn't because of some code stuck in the middle of the address. Not sure why it didn't work the second time you tried!

    Re: Gum Nuts ???

The larger Fruit are not Gum Nuts.
They are in fact the fruit from Corymbia 'Summer Red'.

    Check out this link:-

Eucalyptus ficifolia crossed with Eucalyptus ptychocarpa.
These two Eucalyptus flowers are manually pollinated.
The resulting tree is grafted onto a stronger root stock.
This is the reason the fruit is baron.
I found when My tree was one meter tall,( 3 ft )
It kept trying to shoot from below the graft.
This year I got my first flowers and that is from a tree only three years old.
The tree is not cheap, I paid $110 from Bunnings.
