i was wondering just how nessary it was to keep the seeds of Sarracenia plats cold stratifed for 4 weeks because i have germinated pine seeds which also needed cold stratification in just 24 hours of cold stratifiction is this due to the waxy layer on the seeds of pitcher plants?
