So, my husband and I have moved and are doing some yard clean up. We found grapes in our backyard. Right now they are about 1 cm in diameter, hard and green. We live in Mission, BC. How do we find out what variety these are. When are they ready for harvesting? How do we care for them? Thanks!

You will have a much better idea of what kind of grapes you have when the fruit ripens, which can happen from late August to never, depending on the variety and the weather. The grapes are ripe when they are soft and sweet. So far this summer has been ideal for ripening grapes.
