This is the first year that my grapefruit tree has set fruit. The fruit are currently slightly smaller than a tennis ball. The plant is in a pot. I live in the Florida panhandle. I just noticed that the fruit are not firm and was wondering if that was normal.
from my experience, they start out hard and get softer as they get closer to completion. Usually changing from dark green to a lime green about half way through.
