Hi everyone and greeatings from Perth, Australia. I used to have a small grape vine with lots of grape bunches up until 6 months ago when we decided to install a garden bore. Water restrictions here in perth pushed us into getting a garden bore and since then my dry-looking lawn has transformed into a master piece and looks simply awsome. However my fruit trees have suffered some changes especially my grape vine, it has grown so much that now it has only 2 grape bunches as opossed to 10 to 15 last year. Now the vine has grown so wild that the branches are all over the lawn. Could this be a overwatering problem???? also my lemon tree decided to stop fruiting, no more lemons, in the past my lemon tree used to have fruits almost throughout the year....not any more...............please helpppppp!!!!!!
Can a "garden bore" be turned off or blocked? Or if it has to run (artesian style) all the time, can you channel or pipe it away from these plantings except for periodic watering? It sounds like your plants are suddenly having too easy a time with too much water giving too much nutrient = not enough stress = reduced bloom and fruit set. Ralph
